Ramsdell 53 all out ( 26.2 overs )

BAILEY, BARRETT & BEVAUN MAKE IT RAMSDELL HELL!
Rob Bailey (82) & Mike Barrett (53) duplicated their 2001 success with a century opening stand at Albany Road.

Waltham ran out winners by 158 runs, as Bailey & Guyanan Adrian Bevaun (47) then added another 94. As Waltham took advantage of a quick outfield, only Simpson (3-37) then Andrews & Jury with a wicket apiece stemmed the flow of runs.

Pete Boston (4-20) & Paul Woodward (4-4) then ripped out the heart of the visitors batting. Steve Enfield (2-9) mopped up the tail as only Jones (20) & Heath (17) reached double figures.

2nd XI
Hampshire League Regional Division East III

Holybourne 86 all out ( 29.2 overs )
Bishop’s Waltham 2nd XI 87 – 1 ( 33.3 overs )

CATCHING WINS THE DAY FOR WALTHAM!
Waltham had a comfortable 9 wicket win in their opening fixture against newly promoted Holybourne. Early inroads by Mitchell (4-24) & Gibson (5-15) on a dampish wicket together with some sparkling catching saw Holybourne faltering at 5 for 29. Only Ayres (15) & Millard (25) reached double figures in the home sides final total of 86.

In reply, Tromans (38*) & Livermore (13) added 48 for the opening partnership, with Harvey (23*) seeing Waltham home in the 34th over.

1stXI
Hampshire League County Division IV
Bishop’s Waltham 180 all out
Rowledge 109 all out

BAILEY AND DUNLEA ARE WALTHAM MATCH WINNERS
"Bowled Dunlea" read the scorecard as the Waltham paceman shattered the Rowledge top five, finishing with 6-31, after returning to remove top scorer Field (34) as Waltham’s 180 proved too many for the home side.

Rob Bailey (80) again laid the foundation for the visitors, adding 50 for the first wicket with Mike Barrett (26) for the third time in a week, while Dave Oddie (21) supported late on.

Left armer George Maltby (3-43) put in a tight spell, while Rowledge’s rookie quick Bev Hornby (3-22) also steamed into good effect.

Waltham coped with the loss of Pete Boston with a strained back after just six overs. But the ten men plugged the gaps in the field with Bevaun (1-26) & Woodward (2-32) applying pressure along with Phil Dalton finishing the Rowledge innings with a wicket maiden on debut.

2nd XI
Hampshire League Regional Division East III

Vospers II 207-4
Bishop’s Waltham II 187-6

WALTHAM ALL AT SEA AGAINST VOSPERS
Vospers Dickinson (68 not out) helped the away side reach 207-4 off their 42 overs, who along with Scott (47) shared in a third wicket partnership of 82.

A quickfire innings by O’Mara (32 not out) then added another 65 runs at the end with Mitchell (1-49), Williams (1-20) & Livermore (1-28) taking a wicket apiece.

Livermore (37) & Tromans (42) shared an opening partnership of 63 runs in Waltham’s reply. A Wymbs (39) then helped Waltham add a further 75 runs for the second wicket partnership.

Requiring 53 runs off the last 7 overs & despite the efforts by Mitchell (20 not out), Waltham fell short by 20 runs at the end with Crolla (2-36) & Taylor (1-38) stemming the flow of runs.

25th May, 2002

1stXI
Hampshire League County Division IV
Bishop’s Waltham 77-2 (16.2 overs)
East Tytherley 76 all out (34 overs)

Waltham’s all-seam attack bowled the home side to the top of the County Division 4 at a blustery Albany Road.

Only Cox (33 not out) came to terms with conditions as Dunlea (2-32), Enfield (3-4), Bevaun (3-28) & Dalton (1-10) skittled the visitors for 76.

Run machine Bailey (44) & Barrett (18) complied their fourth successive stand above 50, as Waltham ran out by eight wickets as early as the 17th over.

The pace-setters face a tough task against Gosport II on Saturday if they are to maintain their good start.

2nd XI
Hampshire League Regional Division East III

Bedhampton II 207-9 (42 overs)
Bishop’s Waltham II 130-7 (42 overs)

Bedhampton had a comfortable 77 run victory at a windswept Bidbury Mead. Despite an early wicket form Waltham’s Lister (2-39), Bedhampton’s McIntyre (28) & Hopkins (48) then added 45 for the second wicket partnership. Hovey (35) then featured well in the third wicket partnership of 71 before being well caught ‘one handed’ on the boundary by Andrews.

Home skipper Woodgate (24) then supported late on with Mitchell (3-46), Mills (2-46) & Livermore (2-17) each taking a brace of wickets.

In reply the Bishop’s Waltham batsmen failed to come to term with the excellent opening spell from McIntyre (1-21) & Hovey (4-39) as their innings faltered at 36 for 5 after 14 overs.

Andrews (50 not out) & Brown (22) then rebuilt Waltham’s innings adding 60 for the sixth wicket partnership as the visitors were well beaten.

Gosport Borough II 151- 6 (45 overs)
Bishop’s Waltham 152- 0 (34 overs)

Rob Bailey (70 not out) & Mike Barrett (74 not out) batted unbeaten Waltham to a ten wicket win at a sun-drenched Privett Park.

The pair shared 16 boundaries as the visitors romped home with 11 overs to spare, completing their fifth successive stand above fifty in the process.

Home skipper Barry World (74 not out) had carried his bat in Gosport’s 151-6. But only Stares (22) offered any support as Gosport never got going.

Jon Dunlea (1-24) reeled off his 12 overs, while Steve Enfield (2-31) & Adrian Bevaun (3-26) kept it tight at both ends.

2nd XI
Hampshire League Regional Division East III

Gosport Borough III 124 all out (41 overs)
Bishop’s Waltham II 126- 9 (41 overs)

Waltham’s Colin Andrews (20 not out) continued his fine form with the bat as the home side won by 1 wicket in a final over thriller at a sunny Albany Road.

Requiring 5 runs from the final three balls, Andrews struck a mighty six over mid wicket to clinch victory, despite the best efforts of Gosport’s Kitchen (12-8-7-1) & Pilott (6-40).

Tromans (28) along with Fletcher (15), Brown (15) & Mitchell (11) were the only home batsmen to provide the base for Andrews match winning innings.

Earlier Gosport were floundering at 21-3 after Dalton (4-27) & Mitchell (3-33) made early inroads into the visitors batting.

Pilott (22) & Lloyd (38) then added 61 for the fourth wicket with Bowen (3-28) eventually having Pilott well caught behind by Brown.

Portsmouth IV 139-9 (42 overs)
Bishop’s Waltham II 154-7 (42 overs)

Waltham batting first against Portsmouth made a steady start with 53 being added for the first wicket between Livermore (16) & Tromans (31). Then Waltham’s middle order of Keeys (29), Bowen (28) & McKenner (23 not out) saw the visitors post a total of 154-7, with Gulliver (4-22), Howorth (2-36) & the luckless Hussain (0-30) bowling well for the home side.

Portsmouth in reply lost two early wickets as Dalton (1-34) & Bowen (1-23) made the breakthrough. Opener Howorth (42) then featured in the third & fourth wicket partnerships of 46 & 40 with Clifford (18) & Maslen (29) before being well caught & bowled by Mitchell (3-38). Despite a spirited effort by Jones (23), Portsmouth failed by 15 runs at the end.

Hampshire League County Division IV

Chawton 91 all out (38.5 overs)
Bishop’s Waltham 96-2 (27 overs)

Waltham kept their eye on the ball in the wake of England’s victory over Denmark, maintaining top spot in County Division 4 with an eight wicket win at scenic Chawton.

The visiting seamers prospered on a damp wicket with Jon Dunlea (4-20), Steve Enfield (1-17) & Pete Boston (3-20) making the inroads. Phil Miles (20) top scored for the home side, but wickets fell at regular intervals, with Off spinner Paul Woodward (2-19) mopping up in Chawton’s total of 91.

Rob Bailey (62 not out) guided Waltham home as early as the 27th over. His opening stand of 46 with Mike Barrett (12) being their lowest of the year so far

Waltham face season defining encounters at home to high flying Compton & Chandlers Ford, followed by Kingsclere in the next two weeks.

2nd XI
Hampshire League Regional Division East III

Bishop’s Waltham II 126-7 (42 overs)
Denmead 125-6 (42 overs)

Cool heads by Waltham’s Paul McKenner (22 not out) & young James Enticknap (1 not out) saw the home side home in a final ball thriller at Albany Road.

Requiring 5 runs off the final over with only 1 wicket remaining, Enticknap drove the last ball through Denmead’s close circle of fielders to clinch victory. While opener Livermore (40) showed good application on a slow wicket, Waltham’s middle order succumbed to the accurate bowling of Wright (3-22), D Walker (3-35), Bathmaker (1-30) & the luckless Lane (12-4-27-0).

However, Waltham’s tail brought them back into the game with Brown (10), Mitchell (10) & Dalton (5) making small but valuable contributions to set up a nail biting climax.

Earlier Denmead totaled 125 for 6 in 42 overs, thanks to C Walker (23), Halliday (18), Bathmaker (13), Shinn (19 not out), Wright (10 not out) & aided by some indifferent fielding, despite the best efforts by Waltham’s Bowen (4-25) and Enticknap (1-20).

1stXI
Hampshire League County Division IV

Compton & Chandlers Ford 264-2 (45 overs)
Bishop’s Waltham 127/8 (45 overs)

A terrific all round performance saw Compton score a commanding victory over promotion rivals at Bishop's Waltham & go clear at the top of County Division 4.

Winning the toss enabled Compton to have first use of a good track and they never looked back with Pritchard (117 not out) & Read (44) launching an uncompromising assault which saw the home bowlers wilt.

The excellent Pritchard stole the show with another majestic century while Barclay (59) & Selwyn (26 not out) also made significant contributions.

Pritchard played a chanceless innings taking his run tally to over 400 runs this season with none of Waltham's bowlers escaping punishment as Compton cruised to a formidable 264-2.

After their long afternoon in the field the Waltham batsmen never came to terms with the target against the Compton opening attack of Dearlove's spin & Brown's pace.

Selwyn's sharp run out ended the opening partnership & Bailey fell soon after to Brown, victim of an excellent diving catch by keeper Read.

A soild fourth wicket partnership frustrated the Compton bowlers until Pritchard (3-26) had the dependable Harvey caught off a full toss. Waltham eventually finishing on 127-8.

2nd XI
Hampshire League Regional Division East III

Bishop’s Waltham II 138 all out (41.5 overs)
Portchester II 139 - 6 (28.3 overs)

Waltham got off to a reasonable start before tight bowling from Portchester’s Sparshott (5-35), Prior (2-22) & Laidlaw (1-33) saw the visitors eventually reach 138 all out in the 42nd over.

Opener Tromans (20) batted sensibly as Waltham reached 69 for 2 & looked set for a healthy target.

Waltham’s skipper Crouch (34) held firm in the middle order with McKenner (16) as the Waltham tail faltered.

In reply, a quickfire innings from the home side skipper Noyce (38) along with Laidlaw (23) & Hayes (23) steered Portchester to victory home in the 29th over despite the loss of six wickets.

Young Ashley Mills (2-23) being the only highlight in an indifferent Waltham bowling display.

Hampshire League County Division IV

Bishop's Waltham 245 -4 (45 overs)
Kingsclere 219 all out (44.3 overs)

Bishop's Waltham produced a good team performance to defeat Kingsclere by 26 runs on a good track at Albany Road.

The home side amassed 245-4, set up by an opening partnership of 151 between Bailey (71) & Barrett (93).

The dependable Harvey (23) & Jones (17 not out) eventually seeing Waltham set a commanding total.

None of the Kingsclere bowlers escaped punishment as only P Gundry (2-65) & Donoghue (1-67) were successful in claiming wickets.

In reply Kingsclere Hamlin (71) & N Gundry (43) made a major contribution towards their final score of 219 all out, before Waltham's Boston (3-29) eventually removed both batsmen.

However, Dunlea (5-61) continued his fine form with the ball, claiming four wickets in the closing stages of the visitors innings.

2nd XI
Hampshire League Regional Division East III

Bishop's Waltham II 165-6 (42 overs)
Andover IV 166-8 (42 overs)

A scrambled two runs off the final ball saw Andover home in a tense climax. The cool heads of Shield (8 not out) & Winstone (0 not out) seeing the home side through to 166-8.

An opening partnership of 65 from Coppleston (37) & Williams (43) in 21 overs set the foundation for Andover's win.

Only Oostendrop (37) then made a significant contribution as Waltham's Mills (4-34) made inroads into the home sides batting.

Earlier, Waltham's innings total of 165-8 had been ticking along nicely at four runs per over as the visitors reached 101-3 in the 25th over, aided by the sensible batting of Tromans (29).

However, Baxter (3-35) & Neale (0-42) then pegged back the visitors before the Waltham innings was rallied by Brown (29), Crouch (29 not out), Mitchell (17) & Dalton (12 not out).

Fareham & Crofton II 116 (40 overs)
Bishop's Waltham 232 - 5 (45 overs)

Second placed Bishop's Waltham continued their recovery after their mauling at the hands of Compton & Chandlers Ford with a 116 run triumph at Bath Lane.

Openers Rob Bailey (104) & Barrett (59) compiled yet another century stand, despite the slow damp track.

Bailey went on to complete his maiden ton for Waltham as the pair blasted 20 boundaries, while skipper Simon Jones (37) helped boost the visitors' score to 232-3.

Tony Tucker (68) dug in for the home side, but no other Fareham batsman reached double figures as they ended on 116 all out.

Jon Dunlea (5-21) & Pete Boston (2-23) made the early inroads, while Paul Woodward (2-26) returned to form.

Nick Pink's first wicket for Waltham opened the way for Dunlea & Boston to mop up the tail.

1stXI
Hampshire League County Division IV

Old Basing 80 all out (39.2 overs)
Bishop's Waltham 81 - 0 (17.5 overs)

It was the Robbie & Mikey show again for Waltham, as the phenomenal opening pairing of Messrs Bailey & Barrett took their season's total to 785 runs in 9 matches.

Off spinner Paul Woodward (6-21) took advantage of a helpful surface, as the home side managed only 80 runs in total.

Seamers Jon Dunlea, Pete Boston and Steve Enfield kept a stranglehold despite the visitors dropping several presentable chances & also having two run out appeals turned down.

Bailey & Barrett then completed the formalities inside 18 overs to ensure a maximum 22 point haul ahead of Saturdays' tough encounter at home to Pylewell Park.

2nd XI
Hampshire League Regional Division East III

Bishop's Waltham II 106-6 (28.5 overs)
Hollybank 105 all out (37.4 overs)

Waltham returned to winning ways with a good bowling & fielding display to win by four wickets at Albany Road.

Hollybank, batting first, soon lost an early wicket as Mitchell (2-14) made the breakthrough. The visitors then lost wickets at regular intervals as Bowen (5-25) bowled a good line & length on a dampish wicket, along with Dalton (1-20), Mills (1-18) & Gibson (1-25) all claiming a wicket a piece.

Despite Kinge (23), McDougall (23) & some late lusty blows by Tindale (14), Hollybank were eventually dismissed for 105 in the 38th over.

In reply Waltham started well enough as openers Livermore (17) & Tromans (15) added 34 runs for the first wicket.

Then a disciplined bowling spell by Hollybank's Wood (2-23) & Henderson (4-36) had the home side wobbling at 74-6 in the 18th over.

However, McKenner (19 not out) & Mitchell (9 not out) steadied the ship as they batted sensibly to steer the Waltham home to victory in the 29th over.

20 July , 2002

1stXI
Hampshire League County Division IV

Bishop's Waltham 162 - 6 (45 overs)
Pylewell Park 163 - 6 (44.2 overs)

Waltham paid the price for an untidy show in the field as promotion rivals, Pylewell Park scrapped home by four wickets with four balls to spare on an Albany Road pitch with variable bounce.

Royan (3-45) & CL Kitcher (2-17) accounted for prolific Waltham openers Mike Barrett & Rob Bailey, but skipper Simon Jones (45) & Nick Pink (35 not out), aided by 28 extras, saw the home side reach a defendable 162-6.

Cooper (36) set the visitors' reply off to a flyer, but left armer Steve Enfield (2-34) pegged Pylewell back.

Despite three wickets from Pete Boston & Jones' sharp run out of Royan (50), CM Kitcher (25) always kept Pylewell up with the run rate as his brother CL Kitcher stuck the winning boundary from the second ball of the last over.

Waltham's visit to top six outfit Midhurst now takes on added significance, as does the encounter at home to Crown Taverners the following week.

2nd XI
Hampshire League Regional Division East III

Alton III 190 all out (41.3 overs)
Bishop's Waltham II 156 - 8 (42 overs)

Alton III's 44 run triumph saw Rees & Extras joint top scoring with 46 apiece!

Twenties from Wilson, Giles & Dawkins helped the home side's cause, despite 5-30 from Waltham's Kevin Bowen, who along with Ray Mitchell (1-33) exerted control after Alton reached 60 off the first ten overs, although Phil Dalton claimed three late wickets.

Tromans (32) replied briskly for Waltham, but extras (21) was the next highest contribution as Dawkins (3-38) along with Burns & Reeves, claiming two wickets apiece, enjoyed successes with the ball.

Mitchell (17 not out) & Dalton (15 not out) batted out the overs as Waltham closed on 156-8.

27 July , 2002

1stXI
Hampshire League County Division IV

Midhurst 213 - 5 (44.4 overs)
Bishop's Waltham 212 - 6 (45 overs)

Midhurst dealt a blow to Waltham's promotion hopes, winning by five wickets with two balls to spare, with plaudits also going to the blameless Cowdray Park pitch & the picturesque surroundings.

Smith (22 not out) smote a six & a four in Dunlea's final over and struck the winning blow four balls later, but the platform was laid by classy left-hander Goodwin (89). Enfield (1-28) removed his opening partner Sharp for 44 & Woodward (1-53) kept it tight, leaving the home side 64 to win from 8 overs.

Despite missing half chances to dismiss Goodwin (twice) & Smith (once), the balance of power remained with the visitors thanks to excellent catches in the deep by Barrett & Harvey off Dunlea's bowling. Jones' direct hit, from long off, ran out home skipper Lush, but Smith's intervention condemned Waltham to their second successive last over defeat.

Earlier, Bailey (20) & Barrett (35), followed by Harvey (36) got the visitors up and running, while Jones (46 not out) emulated his illustrious counterpart's seven fours & a six in adding 78 with Oddie (34). Pink (12 not out) smote lustily late on, before breaking a finger taking a catch in the Midhurst innings, for whom Reid's 2-38 in 12 overs of intelligent slow bowling proved decisive.

Waltham probably need to win their remaining five matches to reach their goal of County 3 in 2003.

2nd XI
Hampshire League Regional Division East III

Bishop's Waltham II 181 - 4 (42 overs)
Liss II 120 all out (34 overs)

Bishop's Waltham II strolled to a comfortable 61 run victory home to Liss II.

Waltham openers Livermore (71 not out) & Tromans (19) gave the home side a good start putting on 68 for the first wicket in 18 overs. The momentum was maintained by Livermore along with Fletcher (18) & A Wymbs (26 not out) as Baker, Pleace & A Johnson with one wicket apiece enjoyed success, with Waltham eventually closing on 181-4.

In reply, Liss started slowly and scored only 52 for 4 from the first 20 overs, due to tight accurate bowling from Ray Mitchell (2-20 in 12 overs). Pleace (17), Freeman (15) & Judge (19) then set about rebuilding the visitors reply but wickets fell at regular intervals with Dalton taking 2-32.

Then when Baker (25) was dismissed by Gibson (4-27), the visitors lost their impetus and were all out for 120.

Sherfield on Loddon 193 - 4 (42 overs)

Visiting skipper John Gibson (83 not out) rode his luck in a buccaneering knock at a damp Albany Road.

Home debutant Alistair Gage (3-54) clipped his off stump but failed to dislodge the bails, while leg spinner Charlie Farley (1-26) also claimed a victim on debut.

Openers House (28) & JE Smith (34) had laid the Loddon base as JA Smith (18) along with his captain helped the visitors posted 193-4.

Once Simon Jones (25) fell to Kerr (2-21), Livemore (49 not out) & Mitchell (16 not out) batted out the overs as Waltham ended 80 runs short with Spencer & Edwards grabbing two wickets apiece for Sherfield.

1stXI
Hampshire League County Division IV

Bishop's Waltham 163 - 5 (45 overs)
Crown Taverners 176 - 7 (45 overs)

Crown Taverners dented Waltham's promotion ambitions & helped their own cause with a 13 run win at a sun-drenched Albany Road.

Boston (2-41) claimed an early breakthrough but Emerson (60), supported by Griffiths (32) & then Hodgkinson (40) took the score to 131 before Kev Bowen (2-24) removed them both.

Jon Dunlea (2-47) claimed a couple of late scalps as the visitors posted 176-7.

Rob Bailey & Mike Barrett (28) replied with an opening stand of 69 but Hall (11 overs for 30 runs) & Boshoff (1 for 34 in 12 overs) put the home side behind the clock.

Hodgkinson (2-43) caught & bowled Bailey for 74 & had Harvey (19) caught behind. When Gudge (1-43) accounted for Jones on the long-on boundary, Waltham's chances faded with the light.

Nothing less than two wins at Oakley & IBM Hursley will do for Waltham, who still have to rely on other results to attain County 3 status.

2nd XI
Hampshire League Regional Division East III
Purbrook III 179 - 3 (39.5 overs)
Bishop's Waltham II 178 - 3 (42 overs)

Garland (96 not out) carried his bat as Purbrook triumphed by seven wickets with 13 balls to spare at The Recreation ground.

The home side passed Waltham's 178-3 despite tight bowling from James Enticknap (1-24) & Ray Mitchell (12 overs for 40), as De Cambra (32), Dyer (22) & Thomas (19) supported their match winner.

Earlier, Livermore (24) & Fletcher (45) set the base for Brown (47 not out) & Mitchell (36 not out) to add 75 for the fourth wicket partnership, although Pugsley's 12 overs for just 35 proved vital for Purbrook.

24 August , 2002

1stXI

Oakley 159 all out (44.5 overs)
Bishop's Waltham 108 - 3 (26 overs)

Even the presence of Oakley president Major Ronald Ferguson couldn't prevent Waltham's first win since July 13th in a rain-reduced encounter.

A major Ron Harvey contribution (24 runs at a run a ball) kept the visitors ahead of the rate & Mike Barrett (54 not out) took on the short ball with relish, clocking up 500 runs for the season along the way.

A heavy downpour ended the visitors' pursuit of Oakley's 159 at 108 for 3 after 26 overs, giving Waltham another 21 points towards their promotion push.

Earlier, despite thirties from the home sides' Rutt & Mardle, Paul Woodward (4-47) & Pete Boston (3-53) took wickets at regular intervals, with back-up from Jon Dunlea (2-14) & all-rounder Phil Baldock (1-41) who made a welcome return.

Waltham now need to win at unpredictable IBM Hursley & sweat on the results of Pylewell Park, Kingsclere & Crown Taverners, who need to reach 262 points to finish ahead of the Mitre men.

2nd XI
Hampshire League Regional Division East III
Bishop's Waltham II 147 - 8 (42 overs)
Bursledon 228 - 4 (42 overs)

Waltham suffered at the hands of Bursledon's D Harding whose magnificent 109 not out dominated the visitors' 228 for 4.

Holt (43), Extras (36) & Popplwell (23) joined in the run-feast & although James Enticknap (2-60) & Phil Dalton (3-59) got among the wickets, only Ray Mitchell (12 overs for 44) exerted any degree of control.

Extras (28) top scored in Waltham's 147 for 8 with twenties coming from Dalton, Tromans, Wymbs & Fletcher.

Sowden (2-38) & Holmes (2-11) got amongst the home batsmen, with no-one able to rival Harding's dominance & Bursledon ran out winners by 83 runs.

IBM Hursley 209 - 6 (45 overs)
Bishop's Waltham 210 - 6 (43.3 overs)

Waltham completed a Pyrrhic victory in farcical near-darkness at Hursley, edging home by four wickets with nine balls to spare chasing the Programmers' 209 for 6.

It seems likely that defeats against Crown Taverners & Pylewell Park have condemmed Waltham to another season in a division described by skipper Simon Jones as "the most difficult league to get out of".

With 740 & 540 runs respectively, Rob Bailey (54) & Mike Barrett (39) resumed normal service with their fifth century stand of the year. Dave Oodie (36 not out) was there at the death & received good support from Ron Harvey (15) & Simon Jones (19), who both fell to the much sought-after Chris McDermott (5-44).

Earlier, McDermott (54 not out) had added 101 for IBM's fourth wicket with the excellent Etienne Rademaker, who struck 13 fours & two sixes in a technically exquisite 93.

In the darkness of the closing stages, fielders ran comically in wrong directions & then attempted to listen for the ball as it neared the boundary, but Waltham scrapped home !
