Dramatic news has reached us that talismanic Sunday skipper Nick Pink is likely to miss the entire 2007 season after sustaining a fractured shin during a Sunday morning football match. The Playing Committee would like to re-iterate its thanks to Nick for his hard work in 2006 - he is currently in plaster but hopes to make it to some matches this year.

The Playing Committee would like one or two club members to take on this role from June 24, either for a month at a time or for the remainder of the season. Contact any team captain for more details as soon as possible.
Ray Mitchell has agreed to deputise until the end of May, with Chas Farley taking up the reins from the Durley game (27 May).
