End of season events

As you will know this has been a difficult season with the loss of so many matches to the weather severely reducing our income.

With this in mind the BWCC Fund Raising and Social Team has canvassed opinion on how you would like to celebrate this year and draw the campaign to a close.

Taking into account opinions of players, partners and wives on style, location and date, the Team has organised not one but two events:

Players’ Night
at the Pavilion
Saturday 22nd September

As well as a sausage/pie/fish and chip supper, the evening includes beer, stats, and duck cups, toasts etc and of course trophy winners will be announced.

The idea is that (a) the Club receives cash over the bar, and (b) WAGs - wives and girlfriends - don’t have to endure our cricket speeches! Cost to be confirmed.

The BWCC Autumn Cricket Ball
at the Uplands Hotel, Droxford
Friday 12th October

This will be a black tie/lounge suit dress dinner dance plus the presentation of the main club trophies to the winners.

Colts parents will be invited but unfortunately due to licensing laws no colts players can attend. Final cost to be confirmed.

Can I please encourage everyone to attend both events and not to think you won't be missed...you will be.

We are a tight-knit club and it would be great if everyone to come along and create that special atmosphere.
